Each applicant for citizenship of Grenada undergoes stringent due diligence checks. He or she also needs to be in good health. Besides, an extensive document package has to be submitted in the process of applying for citizenship of the country.
Neither the main applicant nor his or her dependents have to visit Grenada prior, nor during, nor after the application for citizenship. All procedures including the submission of the application and the supporting documents will be performed by a licensed immigration agent. After the application is approved, the applicant has to fulfil his/ her financial obligations and make a donation to the NTF or purchase real estate in Grenada.
Stage 8:
Grenada passport issuance
After all the financial requirements have been met, the main applicant and the members of his/ her family will be issued Citizenship Certificates. The immigration agent will use these Certificates to apply for passports of Grenada for the applicants. No visit to the country is required at this stage either as the passports will be delivered by the agent to the preferred address with a courier.

If it is later determined that the applicant supplied false data when submitting the application documents, citizenship of Grenada can be annulled. The same measure can be used if the applicant damages the reputation of Grenada in the international arena.
